YEAR 10 KATTI: Kei A Tātou Te Ihi programme

Ngā Moemoeā / Goals & Aspirations

The Year 10 programme encourages Māori secondary school students to

express their dreams, goals and aspirations. In addition, students will learn the

processes for taking actions towards achieving their goals. Moreover, students

focus on developing a positive Māori identity, by identifying particular role models

and leaders. Ultimately, a primary objective of the Year 10 programme is to

motivate Māori students to remain at secondary school until Year 13, to

strengthen their career options.
