Career Practitioner position, CPIT Career Centre

The Career Centre Practitioner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships and providing career based services to a client group comprising potential and current students, CPIT graduates, managers, teaching staff, employers, and relevant agencies. She/he will manage the resources and processes to enhance student satisfaction, retention and success in employment.

The ideal person to take on this exciting role will be an experienced and qualified professional career practitioner who is able to support and advise clients with choosing the right career and study options for their future.

Essential for success are: A depth of experience in career counselling and presenting seminars and workshops; an exceptional ability to relate to a diverse range of people; analytical and problem solving skills; mature judgement; an energetic, proactive disposition; a comprehensive knowledge of educational and employment opportunities as well as of relevant software applications.
