Update on the Career education benchmarks
Careers New Zealand has led the development of a set of
benchmarks to help schools develop effective practice and deliver
high quality career education. This is a New Zealand first,
and an important project for the careers sector and for our
country.
Career education is vital to the future well-being of our young
people and the economy of New Zealand. We are all responsible
for improving the quality of career education in New Zealand so our
young people have the competencies to manage their own
careers. To this end the benchmarks are an important priority
for Careers New Zealand.
