A bit about myself

I have been teaching for approximatly 30 years in the secondary sector.
I have, during that time, had the opportunity to be involved in many
facets of education as a teacherin a number of different departments, an HOD,
an Assistant Principal, and as a staff rep on a BOT.  I have also been a
Regional Moderator, on a National Interpretations Panel and a Massey
College of Education Lecturer.

At present I am HOD Transition at Kapiti College.  This is my third year
as a Careers Advisor and I have been involved in both Gateway and Star
since the beginning of last year.

I joined CATE the minute I was appointed Careers Advisor, was appointed
Treasurer on my first meeting! and this year found myself accepting
nomination to be Chair of the Wellington/Waiarapa Region.  Ex Officio
went also the National Executative position that I was unaware of at the
time!
