Wellington Institute of Technology /CDANZ Career Research Symposium


The day will consist of inspiring keynote addresses, the presentation of challenging careers research and plenty of opportunity to discuss and query the ?how? and ?why? of research.

 

You will also select to attend 5 forty minute sessions from those on offer.  The sessions will be presented by New Zealand career researchers who will discuss their research and examine the application of it to career practice.  In addition, there will be a student research forum, where research projects which are in progress, or have been completed as part of a careers education programme, can be presented .

 

You do not need to be an expert on research methodology.  Presentations will be non-technical and will emphasise how findings from research enhance career practice.

 

The programme will end at 4.00 pm with time afterwards to discuss career research with the presenters and other experienced career researchers.

 

Registration is $50 for CDANZ/CATE/NZAC members and $75 for non-members.   Morning tea and lunch are included.
