  • Career Education Benchmarks - Tertiary

    Careers New Zealand is leading the development of a suite of benchmarks that aim to increase the quality and consistency of career education in New Zealand. Currently we are developing a set benchmarks for the tertiary sector. These benchmarks build on the Career Education Benchmarks –Secondary (launched in 2011) and are being developed with expert input from the education and research sectors. Later this year we plan to develop a set of benchmarks for Year 7 & 8.

Both documents are still in draft form as we are updating frequently. There has been a change to the New Zealand Defence Forces' speaker, which will be posted once details are confirmed.
