Career Services rapuara

Contracted by the Government to provide support services to schools. The Regional office contacts schools to ask you how they can help you meet your students' career needs.

In the 2006 Budget, the Government funded Career Services to provide a one-stop shop for young NZers looking for information and support to help them make successful transitions between education & the workplace.  This intitiative will involve expanding their current access points (freephone advice line, website and face-to-face consultations) and increasing/improving course and training information.

The two existing websites (Career Services and Kiwicareers) have been merged into one at www.careers.govt.nz and the two 0800 numbers into one (0800 222 733).
