Field trip to Careers Expo
Overview of the Initiative:
Taking all Year 12 and 13s to the Careers Expo then seeking their feedback with a short online questionnaire. As the hiring of 7 buses for transportation is costly, it was good to get feedback to see if the effort was worthwhile.

About the Event:
We engaged in pilot study with VTNZ in an effort to get more students studying towards and gaining their driver licence.

Pasifika Navigators of Tomorrow
Pasifika Navigators of Tomorrow was designed, developed and run collaboratively with Pacific Trust Otago, My Next Move/Business South (Education to Employment Broker), and Connected/Ministry of Social Development.
Northland Careers Roadshow for Years 9-13
This initiative was set up to assist students in exploring opportunities for after school, also to collaborate with industries and employers to ensure learners/ākonga have the skills, knowledge, and pathways to succeed in work. Students gain the support to know what providers/industry require of them to be successful in their future pathway.
