Individuals who work in transition and career development in primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors and those who are keen to stay informed with current career development practice are encouraged to join.
Career development embraces career education information, advice, guidance and career management.
All members are required to abide by the NZ CATE Code of Ethics.

Applying for CATE Membership is easy
CATE Membership is allocated per region, please click on your region below to be taken to the relevant registration form. Membership with CATE ensures you receive the benefit of regional collaboration with other professionals in your area, while still giving you full access to the benefits of national CATE Membership.

Once you have registered, you will receive an automated email with region-specific and national details. You will also receive a copy of the Constitution, Handbook and Code of Ethics and an invoice will be emailed to you for payment.
