Early Bird registration for the IAEVG International Conference 2026 closes this Monday, 31st August.

Early Bird registration for the IAEVG International Conference 2026, hosted by CATE NZ closes Monday 31st August. If you work in career education, Gateway, transitions, pathways, tertiary education, employment, youth support or career development, there will be something here for you. The programme is incredibly varied – with practical workshops, presentations, new ideas, research, resources and opportunities to hear what others are doing both here in Aotearoa and overseas. You don’t need to be an academic or an international career expert to get value from this conference! What makes this opportunity particularly special is the range of people coming together. Over 600 people from 36 countries are represented in our conference community, including Japan, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Norway, the United States, India, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, Kenya, Finland and many more. For those of us working in Aotearoa, it is a rare chance to meet people doing similar work in very different places, pick up practical ideas, hear different perspectives and come away with new thinking that we can take back into our own schools, organisations and communities. And, of course, it is also a fantastic opportunity to connect with each other. International career development conferences of this size don’t come to New Zealand very often. It may be a long time before we have this range of people and perspectives gathered on our doorstep again. 25–27 November 2026 New Zealand International Convention Centre, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Early Bird registration closes Monday 31st August.
