Lunchtime Byte: Project Employ Webinar
Project Employ is an Auckland-based charity supporting neurodiverse young adults to become work-ready. They do this by providing individualised employability skills training and work experience opportunities in their training café, Flourish Café.
The training programme is open to 18-28 year olds who identify as being neurodiverse, and that are motivated to gain paid employment after their training.
Following their 6 month training, graduates are supported to gain and maintain paid employment, through the Employment Programme. Project Employ also runs a 6 month paid internship programme, for up to 4 PE graduates per year, in our Air NZ-based Flourish Café, in Auckland CBD.
In this webinar, Sarah Dann-Hoare, founder & CEO of Project Employ, will explain the model, its successes and her vision for this program being available for more young people throughout New Zealand.
